Grubby carpets? Well, you could do it yourself...

You don't have to get your carpets cleaned by a professional. You may have a machine stashed under your stairs already, a spot-stain remover made by Vax or Rug Doctor for example, great for interim cleaning or the odd spill.
You could hire a machine from a local store - usually advertised at a daily rate (does that include weekends?). Add in the cost of solutions (you have to buy those from the same people). Add in the cost of accessories because you'll need those, again, from the same people. Check availability, book your slot, go pick it up, read the instructions, hope it works (they do sometimes malfunction), move all your furniture (did you remember to buy floor protectors?)
Then you have to make the time, do the cleaning (did you buy the right spot-stain removers?) wait for your carpet to dry, move your furniture back again, return the machine by the deadline to avoid extra costs. You might have to rush the job to get finished in time, and did you get it as clean as you were expecting?
Or you could ask us for a no-obligation quote - this is what you'll get:
- A fixed quote based on a professional survey, checking carpet construction, material, colour fastness and shrink-risk
- deep, dry-soil extraction
- specialist stain removal - from blu-tac to turmeric, claret to... claret
- a pre-treatment with, in our case, effective and environmentally friendly solutions that are proven safe for you, your family and your pets
- hot-water extraction with a high-pressure chemical rinse using specialist equipment
- stain protection, anti-bacterial and/or antiviral (SARS/CoV-2) treatment if requested
- final survey and setting of the pile so it looks great and dries quickly
- ...and your home left with no mess and the minimum of disruption. - And you can relax in the knowledge that we're the ones fighting the 100ft snake (you'll see what we mean), that we're insured for public liability and indemnity, DBS-checked, and work guaranteed! - Do you still want to do it yourself?
